Ms. Theresa Lupton

Nurse Clinician, Rheumatology, Calgary Health Region

Terri has been involved in rheumatology for over 20 years. She is currently working as the Nurse Clinician with the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Calgary/Alberta Health Services, in Calgary, Alberta. Her primary role is Triage Nurse for the Calgary Rheumatologists as well as mentor for the Allied Health team. She has previous experience managing numerous clinical trials, and was the National Coordinator for the Patient Partners in Arthritis program in Canada for 10 years. It was here working directly with the patients where she recognized the true impact of rheumatic disease on patients' lives, which further developed her passion for rheumatology and the drive to advocate for patients with arthritis.

She is a member of the Arthritis Health Professionals Association and holds the position of Sponsorship and Marketing Chair. She sits on the Advisory Board for the Alberta and Northwest Territories Arthritis Society.
